For optimal dissolvability, we recommend preparing Bobbie with warm water, slightly warmer than room temperature.
Water used for mixing infant formula must be from a safe source, like distilled, purified, or nursery water. If using tap water, bring to a rolling boil for one minute and let cool for no more than 30 minutes. That being said, before using tap water, please check with your baby’s pediatrician for your baby’s unique safety needs. Learn how to make a formula bottle.

One can of Bobbie makes approximately 23 four ounce bottles of formula. How quickly you go through a can will depend on your baby’s eating habits and needs!
You can store a freshly prepared and untouched bottle of Bobbie at room temperature for up to 2 hours or in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Once feeding has begun, discard the bottle after 1 hour. Don’t refrigerate leftover formula to save it for later.

We source our ingredients from organic farms, meaning our products are non-GMO, contain no synthetic pesticide residues, have no artificial colors or flavors, or inorganic preservatives. Bobbie formulas provide everything your baby needs and nothing that they don’t.
If you want or need to introduce formula to a breastfed baby, consider meeting with a lactation professional to help you through the transition. Many suggest ensuring your baby will accept a bottle first (with expressed breast milk) before introducing formula. How and when you offer formula is up to you! Some parents prefer to offer formula for the first time in the morning so they can watch for any potential adverse reactions.

Many babies have no problem switching to a new formula, while others experience digestive changes during the transition period. Keep in mind that it can take babies around one week to fully adapt to a new formula. Things like fussiness, poop schedule, the color of poops, grunts, or spit-up might be noticeably different until your baby fully adjusts. You know your baby best—when in doubt, we always recommend reaching out to your pediatrician to discuss.
